Mobilizing schools, families, and local institutions to eliminate child marriage and protect adolescent girls.
Implemented in collaboration with ASSEDO, WeCan, and Oxfam Novib, this project addresses the socio-economic drivers of child marriage and adolescent pregnancy. Interventions include training teachers, forming student volunteer oversight groups in rural schools, hosting participatory folk song/pot song awareness campaigns, and coordinating directly with local law enforcement, UP chairmen, Kazis, and Imams.
